Online Counselling for Relationships

Relationships can be deeply meaningful, but they can also feel confusing, frustrating, or emotionally demanding. You might notice patterns in how you relate to others — perhaps avoiding conflict to keep the peace or becoming frustrated when things don’t feel understood or resolved.

Relationships can feel less clear than other areas of life, where there is often a sense of right and wrong. In relationships, things are more uncertain — and this can be difficult to navigate. You may find that while you manage well in structured environments such as work, relationships feel more complex or challenging. Over time, these patterns can affect how you connect with others and how you see yourself.

I offer online counselling for relationship difficulties, providing a calm and supportive space to explore both your relationships with others and your relationship with yourself. Counselling can help you understand these patterns and develop more balanced, secure ways of relating.

How counselling can help with relationships

Counselling can help you to:

  • Explore patterns in past and present relationships

  • Understand how early experiences may shape how you relate to others

  • Recognise tendencies such as people-pleasing, avoidance, perfectionism,

    or difficulties with conflict

  • Express your thoughts and feelings more openly

  • Develop healthier boundaries

  • Feel more secure and confident in your relationships

Our work together is collaborative and paced to support steady, meaningful change.

My approach

I am a BACP registered counsellor offering online sessions to adults across the UK and the European Union. I work integratively with a psychodynamic foundation, tailoring therapy to your individual needs.

I believe the way we relate to others is closely connected to how we relate to ourselves. I also recognise that relationships are rarely about clear right or wrong answers, and part of the work can involve making sense of the more uncertain or “grey” areas of relating.

Is this right for you?

You might be considering counselling if you:

  • Notice repeating patterns in your relationships

  • Avoid conflict or prioritise others’ needs

  • Experience frustration when disagreements arise

  • Find it difficult to express your needs or set boundaries

  • Feel uncertain, anxious, or misunderstood in relationships

Reaching out can feel like a big step. We can begin with a free introductory call and see whether working together feels right.
